The best burgers I have ever tasted! Good service and happy customers. The only flaw is that it doesn’t have a lot of parking so you should park at the cal state parks parking lot.

We parked at the state park and walked in about 1/3 of a mile easy walk. They have very limited parking and cars were lined up on the pacific coast highway waiting for a spot. We ordered ate and left before most even got to the front of the parking wait. The food was a burger and the shakes have extra cream. The view of the ocean was great.

I was only there for breakfast and, unfortunately, wasn't in the mood for one of their famous shakes, but I was blown away by the breakfast burrito I ordered. It had the perfect ratio of egg to bacon and cheese. I got potatoes on the side and while they may have been a little oily for some, I thoroughly enjoyed those as well and gobbled it all up. If you're visiting Newport Beach or even just passing through, this place is definitely worth the visit.

This was my first time at a shake shack. This is an outside-only eatery where you order at a window. Restaurant sits at the top of Crystal Cove beach, so you have the most incredible views of the ocean while you dine. My family was doing a beach day, so the convenient walk up the stairs was awesome. And as for the food, the shakes were so good--not as thick as I'd prefer (melted super fast), but tasted amazing. Burgers were fantastic and fries were okay--nothing special about the fries. I will come again the next time I'm at Crystal Cove.Sidenote: There are some incredibly chubby squirrels that hang out here, so toss 'em a fry and say hi!

I love this place. Not just for the quick and tasty burgers and sandwiches but also because of the amazing view over Crystal Cove beach. Every time I visit from the UK, I try to make sure I visit if I'm in the area. The staff are friendly and on one occasion when I ordered the wrong order, they quickly remade my order and then the manager came and offered me a shake that he had made extra. Make sure you visit. It's an experience. Parking can be a problem but it's worth it.

Nice food with a wonderful sea view. You can also enjoy the food with all the birds and squirrels. Though they don't serve waffle potatoes.

First be prepared to wait in your car in a line to get a parking spot. It is very limited. Once you get your spot, you order at a window, are given a number, then you proceed to find a table. The view is great. The food is basically hamburgers, hot dogs, and fries. All very good. Fun place.

Hands down the best BLTA I've ever had. There's a great menu with a good mix of classic diner/burger joint offerings as well as a few more foodie options. Lovely view, especially on the bar at the back of the umbrella covered dining area. The one downside is that there is very little parking, and as it is a popular eatery, you will likely have to wait to get into the parking lot (from the highway). The good thing is that service is fast so you can usually get in without too much time waiting.

It’s worth the wait to get a parking spot and take a few minutes to enjoy the view and some stellar food! I got the peanut butter shake and a chicken salad sandwich. BOOM! Crazy delicious! My kid dropped his grilled cheese and fries and the waitress had the mess picked up and a new plate of food for him in record time! So rad!

Burgers are alright, shakes are good. The view is awesome though. Parking is terrible so I don't recommend parking there. Park by the beach and walk there if able. Don't park there and walk to the beach though- you will get ticketed (they will announce this while you are enjoying your food). Overall, glad I finally tried this place after frequently driving past it. It's not great enough to make me want to keep coming back, but that's just me.

What a great little lunch spot overlooking the beach. The seating includes tables and a counter that faces the ocean. Parking is limited because it’s such a small place but worth trying out during off peak hours. Menu is typical burgers with a large shake selection.

Yummy and very nostalgic. We came in the rain, so I wish we'd had somewhere dry to sit.

Great location! Amazing View! We were absolutely entranced by the California coast here. I saw a little house that I want to live in from the deck here, but God it's not affordable. Good food! Cheap Prices! What else can anybody ask for?!?

Anyone whose been there already knows that eating a burger with a great shake with the beach in front of you while watching the sunset over the water is always a great afternoon.

Amazing atmosphere! Great burgers and fries! Cajun fries are a must! Great view of the beach below! A lot of shade and the shakes were very good! The only negative is the limited parking so be prepared and plan ahead! But overall this place is completely worth it! Highly suggest to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in Crystal Cove!

OMG this place is best to enjoy nice food with view. Lots of trails near by to hike. You can bring your best furry friend too.

Great service...we got there early (around 11 am) to beat the normal line. We got right in, front row parking, food was good. I got the burger with 1/2 sweet potato fries and 1/2 regular fries. My BF got the turkey club. Be ready to pay $30 bucks for 2 people easily. Staff was friendly and the ground squirrels were fun to watch.

Always a must stop while in town on vacay. Simple and delicious with a side of an amazing view. Whether it be a burger or hot dog.. you can’t go wrong. So many good choices for shakes too! They take parking seriously with it being so so minimal. There were two cars that got tickets while we there for parking and immediately walking down to the beach... I was happy to see they truly care for your business and will only have true customers park there! A tip would be if you go with someone have them get out of the car and hop in line while you’re waiting for parking :)

Always a great tourist destination to take visitors to. You have to bring your patience for the parking because it's very minimal in spaces but definitely worth the wait. I love the date Shake and their burgers are yummy. But the view is awesome and it's just a great place to go eat and look at the water and hear the waves crash. Be courteous though when you're done eating get up and move so that there's room for others not only at the tables but the parking lot.

The parking was definitely a challenge but the food was quite tasty and the view was pretty awesome! Burgers and shakes were great here. Fun place to come eat after a day playing in the sand at the beach.The trick is to have your driver wait on the road in line for a parking spot while you get out and go order. By the time your food is ready, so is your turn to park :)

Happy they brought the Shake Shack back to this location. Service was great very flexible on some customization. Shakes aren't as good as they used to be though.

If you want delicious food and an incredible view then this is your spot. Their Mixed berry shake is a must! Their fries and sandwiches are juat amazing and the service is fast.

Great location, great food, good prices, very tasty. I visited a friend in the area for lunch and we wanted to grab a burger. He suggested Ruby's and I said Shake Shack, I won. We got there relatively early for lunch and both of us found parking. Shortly after the place was packed with cars lined up waiting for a spot. The burgers are great, fries are good, and amazing choices for the shakes. Gorgeous views of the ocean while eating here, right by Crystal Cove. Highly recommended!

Four shakes ordered, four happy people! Chocolate banana, strawberry banana, chocolate, and chocolate chip cookie dough we're all big hits!There's limited parking and the line gets backed up waiting for spots, so if you can walk, I'd recommend it. It's close to the Crystal Cove State Park, so you can park there and enjoy a nice walk and a shake.

This is my absolute favorite place to eat!! I have been coming to California for 15 years, and I always make my way back to this restaurant!

It's worth doing at least once. A bit expensive, but the views are worth it. We took our puppy and had a good time.

Awesome place, awesome view and awesome food. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Pretty crowded in the evening, but it stands for the quality of the place. You have to pay a visit 😎
